    Just because I am now not sure that you understand this, but "historical" isn't defined as pre-guns, and units that you perceived to be exceptionally badass on age of empires are usually not as great in real history.

    lists of the best military individuals/leaders are going to be a lot different than lists of the best fighting forces in history. legacy should have been more specific with the guidelines for these lists.
