Don't get me wrong, ^^ that is definitely in the top ten, but Chyna is the greatest warrior of all time..
Swiss Armored Pikemen, Irish Glassgallow, Bikerfox
Solid first post
Carlos Hatcock: USMC sniper, considered one of the best and had the most vital kills in Nam.
Chris Kyle: Navy SEAL, Americas most deadly sniper over 200 kills in Iraq and longest kill from 2,100 yards.
SEAL Team 6: Killed Osama, pirates, and a shit ton more.
Thanks Fox News!
... I guess anyone who ranks them as warriors is Fox now.... Hathcock was dead before Fox News faggot.
The point was your post was basically prototypical Fox News propoganda and you just sound like an idiot including it in this discussion. Wooohoo Seal Team 6 killed Osama!!!!!!
Also, Hathcock was not dead before Fox News, faggot. (1999 came after 1996)
I'm talking pre modernized armies. No guns
If that was the case I would have picked the same as you for the most part. Especially the SS
Just because I am now not sure that you understand this, but "historical" isn't defined as pre-guns, and units that you perceived to be exceptionally badass on age of empires are usually not as great in real history.
still, putting a bunch of backwards, screaming savages like the maoris and the apache in the same tier as the phalanx's of ancient greece, the legions of rome, and the professional english armies of the hundred years war is absolutely ridiculous.
I agree, I was just throwing stuff out there
Maybe not the greatest of all time , but my personal favorites
Banastre Tarleton (Hugo beats me to it again; Tarleton was the baddest mothefucker in Calvary history)
No particular order: Spartans, the US 3rd Army (WW2), Crusaders (1st and 2nd Crusades), Army of Northern Virginia, Napoleans Imperial Guard
Dudes in particular: Alvin C. Yorke, William the Conqueror, Alexander the Great, Charles Martel, Arthur Wellesley (British Commander at Waterloo), Thomas J. Jackson, and of course...
Ugluk of the Uruk hai
I'm going to play devil's advocate and throw out the NVA/Viet Cong and Macgruber
You're a fucking retard.
lists of the best military individuals/leaders are going to be a lot different than lists of the best fighting forces in history. legacy should have been more specific with the guidelines for these lists.
